On a second thought
SAY: (O Muhammad SA) “Nothing shall ever happen to us except what Allah has ordained for us. He is our MAULA (Lord, Helper and Protector).” And in Allah let the believers put their trust. (Qur’an)
Have you ever wondered why you call upon Allah SWT only when you are surrounded by calamities? Why you start prostrating five times daily during the days of sorrow and grief? Have you ever thought why you start giving more charity when you fear the loss of your life or your beloved one? Whatever type of distress or restlessness you face, you face Allah alone no matter how bad you are as a practical Muslim. But why?
Sadness, fear and loss of anything thing in general be it your money or your relative, is that emotional attack in which your sentiments are hurt. And then you realize that you still have hope. Your deen flashes in your mind. You start all the good deeds possible to please Allah and to get you out of the frustration you are in. This is because you put your trust in Him. It may seem quite a norm thing to say which we always say “Yes, we believe in Allah”. But we only believe in Him when we see our dreams shattered. When we see the world around us falling down. This is not to remind you that you should remember Allah during your good times.
O Muslim Ummah, each one of you has a special relationship with your beloved Rubb. Each one of you is loved by Allah SWT, we just have to return back His Love to Him by following Qur’an and Sunnah. What will we gain from this? Much than we can even imagine. Allah ta’ala says in the Qur’an at different places…
“And he who works deeds of righteousness, while he is a believer (in Islamic Monotheism), then he will have no fear of injustice, nor of any curtailment (of his reward).”
“Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messenger Muhammad (P.B.U.H) including all obligations ordered by Islam] and do righteous good deeds, they are the best of creatures.
Their reward with their Lord is ‘And Paradise(Gardens of Eternity),underneath which rivers flow. They will abide therein forever, Allah will be pleased with them, and they with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord”
O you Muslim, Allah is giving you the promise of peace and happiness in this world and the Jannat. Why then do you hesitate? You want to, but your Nafs doesn’t want you to get closer to the good. You be the judge and search for yourself which should you choose. This mere world or your Destination, the ever-lasting life-Paradise.

I had seen this well-written post on January 22 but my effort to comment failed due to blockade of blogspot in Pakistan. Keep it up.
Later, I received it through e-mail and got mixed up.
Today, by chance, your blog opened up without using proxy and I am able to make comment also. Don't know how many days it will work.
If only we would realise how easy it is to make time for your Lord when you want to... when you want to you will find even more time then you imagined possible... believe me i'm saying this out of experience when you really want to the Lord makes so much time for you, you won't be able to understand from where all that time is coming.
Beautiful post, mashaAllah.
